Does anyone ever answer post anymore on this forum. I must have a half dozen post that halls can only answer and none has even been answered and the ones I had earlier was answered but was never followed through like the post said they would and it been over a year I waited for them to be re-uploaded. I love this sight but it seem no one is ever following through with what they said they would do.

It is the nature of coding forums. Trust me I see it in all the forums I am a member in that is primarily coders. We all have our own projects, busy lives, ect..

These forums started out as simply a place for people to ask questions about my videos and somehow they exploded into what we have today. I myself am a very busy person and it is very hard for me to read all the posts everyday. It is quite interesting but this is the only "i am angry at the site" post I have seen since we got started. Guess we are due one

Yeah we're all busy here. Ever consider adding a blog to this website?

In my experience, we seem to have one of the better answer and issue-closing rates among other programming forums. In most other forums, it seems to be about 50% of questions get answers, and about 30 - 40% get a satisfactory answers. The problem is that sometimes, no one has the answer. I saw the issue you posted about the Urban Realms code, but I don't know where to start. The only time I ever used that code, I did not get those errors, so I really don't know what the issue is, and it isn't worth the post to just say "start at the first error", because that isn't very constructive or helpful. The very nature of programming forums is that not everything can be answered well. A lot of people need help from Halls because he knows his codebases best, but the issues with GoDaddy had to be resolved first because they were bringing the whole site to its knees.

However, when you do have an issue that pops-up, they typically get more attention if they are put into a new thread. Even if it is in-context in the long-running thread (such as the case with the Urban Realms issue), a 0-reply, question-titles thread gets more attention.

I do have to apologize for not getting to that question. I have been trying to get the site back up. Give me a bit and I will take a look and try to get an answer to you.

I also wanted to add that I am now blasting through a back-log of questions now that the site is blazing along at a great speed. During the Dark Ages of GoDaddy over this last week and a half or so it was basically all I could do to try to delete a wave of spam bots that registered back in August that were activated. I tried to answer as much as I could, but when I could hit "Reply", tab to Facebook, log in, check my messages, respond to a few posts and then tab back to IR just as it was loading up, it was hard to keep up with questions

agreed the past month as been pretty tough for us. Look to the future is all I can say. I have a new breath of life into things so I plan on doing what I can to get some new videos and things.

Hey phantom coder, i understand you, but you can't be like that for halls and the rest of the community .. Ever thought that maybe we don't know? We can't know everything i guess..

I was not being mean to no one, I was just expressing how I felt. I know everyone is busy and have their own stuff. but when you have post that are approaching a year old.... oh well This is the best forum I found and like I said in some of my other posts I love this place and I am a very curtious person and thanks people anytime I can. and I help out when I can also. a member was having problem with watching the videos and I went and DL them all and put them up on my own personal web-space for anyone to watch. I would very much like to get the sources also so they will be with the videos. LOL and oh YEAH the speed of this site is AWESOME now lol. Thanks everyone for your opoion now I do not feel like I am being ignored.

I am working on redoing much of the videos or atleast getting them back in order with source. It amazes me how much they are still watched.
