3D Base Model
So here is a personal project of mine. This is just in the low poly stage right now. I'm actually quite proud of the topology on this one, I went for 100% animation and rigging friendly. And for this is probably my lowest poly character and has the most detail off the hop. Right now it is at 2556 TRIANGLES (1278 quads), with only feet (shoe or 2-toe style) and the head to go.
If I can keep the model low poly I am going to make it so armor/clothing can go over top. I also want to make this model right to the end including a rig, and I would like to try creating morphs for inside unity to allow for slight size variation possibilities.
Go ahead and try to guess what kind of character it'll be

Re: 3D Base Model
Nice guess Ark but not a super villain either!
The hints would be easy to find XD
RIGGING FRIENDLY everywhere! At finger joints, shoulders, neck, torso, hips, knees, ankles and the toes! Went right to the top for my main character OH also, its finished low poly is 3650 Triangles! Less than 1900 quads.
Here is update!

Re: 3D Base Model
Model is done as of now, I got VERY tired of painting the skin OVER AND OVER and matching all the seams. So this is the result.
I've decided that the character's outfit parts are to be no more than the original models poly count. That way the character with a total outfit will be 7300 triangles and no more than that. The head is going to be the only changeable piece, the rest of the body is (hopefully) going to utilize morphs to change it up between characters.

Yes it definitely is, I noticed that when I was doing the low poly but to adjust it was going to be about 300 extra polygons to keep the topology flowingFoofighter wrote:wow amazing, good work!
