Hey everyone!

I've been reading this forum for quite a few days now and checked about 10 video's of Hall's tutorial; these are great!
I'm still rather new to php/mysql so it's not all that easy, but I'm getting the hang of it. Today I've written my own registration page and a login page. I used a hashing technique to secure my passwords and am now trying to figure out SESSIONS and COOKIES. I love programming, wish I had more time to spend on here haha!

My goal is to build a browser based mafia game. Yes... another mafia game. However I want to make this unique and professional. I've played a few of these games when I was younger, and I can't seem to forget how unprofessional some of these games were. I got great ideas and I'm driven, the only thing that's left for me to do is get better at php

And don't worry about how many times a game type has been made before. What if there was only 1 Tolkein-esque fantasy MMO? What if there was only one FPS game set during a realistic war? The important thing is making gameplay and mechanic advancements and alterations on the existing games in the genre!

Hah cool I got some interesting features in my head. Heck who knows it might not be a typical mafia game, it might take a swing at another genre while progressing.. This site is full of interesting stuff and I can't stand the fact that I'm such a noob with only basic knowledge of php/mysql heh. Who knows in a year or so I'll be able to create some 2D animated browser game
