I appreciate you testing my game for exploits, but could you actually tell me how you managed to exploit it? you're pretty much destroying my game's established community... I do hope you haven't gone rogue, and hope I can still trust you?

Could you at least PM me and tell me how you were able to attain billions of ingame currency?

You've made several of my most loyal players leave due to your actions. You went waaaaay overboard with your hacks.

Not cool.

Not cool at all.

Why not just ban his account until you get an explanation? Chris seems like a nice enough guy, I'd probably be more likely to believe his account was compromised and another guy was being a bastard using his account, rather than Chris was intentionally undermining your game himself.

Nope. It was Chris, he even spoke like him. He even explained to other players how to carry out the hacks.

I've banned his account, and IP banned him. He changes IP, and creates a new account. I've invested countless sleepless nights and several thousand dollars into the game's cloud node servers. I don't appreciate Chris's attempts at crippling it. My community is a large group of reptile breeders who really enjoy playing the game online, please stop spoiling it Chris. Seriously. You're not a moral hacker, and I'd laugh to even consider you in the same category as the likes of anonymous. You're a troll hacker.

I know your angry but your letting your temper show in these posts, the best approach is to try to keep a calm mind, if he's trolling then your anger is letting him win.

I'm not angry, just very disappointed. :/ I guess you really can't trust any programmer out there, lol.

It started out with him helping me out finding bugs, but then his comments started becoming extremely unconstructive, then a cease of communication.

This should really be handled in PMs since this is directly dealing with one member.

And just to try to keep this fair, did you ask him to do exploit testing? If not, then that is basically just straight up hacking your game. If you did, then it was not likely a good idea to do exploit testing after you had a community. Things will break. If Chris could do it, it was only a matter of time before someone else did it, but the difference is that Chris will tell you how to close the holes he used and you can ask him to stop, whereas a real hacking attempt can just go on forever until you shut down.

Also, did you give him parameters about what to do and not do if you asked him to test it? Otherwise he would basically do everything your code let him.

hi i am a long term member of reptile breeder i have been playing since it first started with a lot of hard work gone into it, then this guy comes along & messes with everything so that players are not able to play tidy.

i dont see the point of hacking a game anyway what could he possibly gain from it ? just does it to bug other players which is kinda sad lol...

i just hope he dont come back & start messing about with things again

I was hanging around nearly all day.. But you never came online. The buy racks script still uses hidden fields for inputting data. And you still have way too many means of html injection. Same old stuff as I showed you before.

You obviously don't seem to realize how far I could take the hacks. I'm only making use of what your website has to offer.. No more no less. You write a system, I use it.

As Jack said, if I can do it, someone else can. You're just lucky I don't go too far.
