What was your favorite boss? And why did you like him/her/it

Just wondering really. My favorite bosses insofar have been:

Psycho Mantis: Metal Gear Solid
Seriously, it was completely trippy and original. Getting into your head and all, he was the perfect example of how amazingly unbeatable game bosses could be. The memory card reading thing was also very nice. "So, you like Suikoden eh!"

My favorite isn't really a boss, but it can technically be one :)

Strider Attack on White Forest: Half Life 2: Episode 2
I loved having to quickly load up the car with a sticky bomb, race to the Strider and try to shoot the bomb onto it with the Gravity Gun, shoot it with a pistol while trying to avoid getting killed by the Hunters that followed it. Thing was, you had to do all that at least 10 times, and you don't have a lot of time to kill them.

Dumah (http://www.dark-chronicle.co.uk/az/dumah.php) from the Sarafan tomb in legacy of Kain: soul reaver 2.
Freaking loved that guy, slain in the material realm, but locked away in the ethereal - reanimated and comes back to life only to have to fight him.

If there is anyone more i like then its gotta be Kain himself from the legacy of kain / soul reaver series (where he is a 'boss'). I totally loved that series of games, wish they would continue it on.
