My family use to stay in condos in Gulf Shores for Christmas every year. I spent many a year in this unit opening my first NES, SNES, D&D books, ect.. Lots of memories. By far the greatest thing I ever got though was HeroQuest. Still remember the morning I unwrapped it and being here has brought the memories and feeling flooding back. Me and my friends played it all night and day for a week!
I would love to play it again but it is going for $200-$300 online! The PC versions are not that great and very buggy and I really don't have anyone around me that would still play.
This got me thinking about a Browser version. I found all the rules, cards, counters already scanned and I could make it to where people can make their own adventures for others. Just like in the Board version. Would be nice to bring back an old classic. The owners have never went after any of the PC version so should be safe.

"Coming soon" - doesn't look like you are too late here...
Not much here other than the initial post in 2010. Still looks like you are not too late...
Not really impressed by this... you could do it a lot better
I'd say if you want to do it, go for it. If it's good quality, people will play it
Re: Hero Quest
I loved hero quest, as well. I would LOVE to help with a project like this!
Have you abandoned the idea?

Good point, Old Rod. Lots of potential here - Halls could really nail this!

Yeesh, I hear that! I literally have an idea at least once a day for something I would love to make, or that I think would be successful, but of course there is nowhere near the time to make them all.hallsofvallhalla wrote:oh if I only had more time! so many ideas and wants but so little time.

Stealing ideas is often better - the telephone and laughing gas come to mind...heh!
