Hey guys,

Im new here and was wondering if any of you know if there is some kind of map editor out there for browser based games ones that you can add creatures to each square and attack them. I was looking around on google and seems the ones i looked at wernt movable maps just static maps.

Define "movable" maps, because a map be definition is static. However, if the map is large enough, you can walk up or down or whatever direction to scroll the map in that direction. Random maps are something used RTS style games. So all maps in RPGs are static, they are predefined, made my someone.

However, if you can hold your breath, i`m at the early stages with someone here where we are going to create a framework for writing maps and RPG style games. In all fairness, we haven`t begun doing anything, but we will, soon. I hope.

Hey.. well basically it has squares that you press w a s d to move up down left or right, and in each square is a different character mob to kill, the mobs have a respawn time. it doesnt use characters it only uses a coloured dot to show what square you are in.
