Hehe well, technically, it`s not referenced as the internet, neither as the world-wide-web 
Intranet is usually a closed network environment with connectivity to the internet. Mostly run in large companies, all SSL VPN connections, really.

Intranet has two meanings, the one about the Internet Protocols and all that jazz, and the one I made Up. If you can't fight it, just go with it!

Right.. Well, according to my definition sheet it still has one meaning, fortunatly, if not in what chaos would we land if all computer terms suddenly could have more then 1 meaning?! Wow, thinking of buying a small cottage in the south of France, somewhere in a small village, where no computers exist yet.
