Let me say firstly this is a "light" recruiting ad. I am not looking for massive help or anyone to try to change my game or build their own game. I have sit idle for some time working on various projects, learning engines, exploring options, and searching for a way to bring my game to life.
About 2 nights ago I had a epiphany dream. I was dreaming of playing a game and thinking "oh man why didn't I think of this first?" well when I woke up I realized I did think of it first! While it is nothing game changing or revolutionary it was a great way to do what I have been wanting to do.
The first Forsaken Sanctum web game in my mind was a huge success. We had a few hundred players and it was super fun while it lasted. Stupid me wanted more and changed it and tried to make it better. I thought I knew what people wanted when in actuality I was building the game around what I wanted which is not always fun for the masses. I am incorporating the original game with the game in my dream to attempt something truly massive. When I built the first FS I was no where near the web coder I am now.
The game will be a 2d graphical/text based web browser game built in PHP and Javascript along with Ajax to keep it with almost no refreshes. It has over 12 zones and 43,000 maps and I am adding well over 450,000 clickable objects for exploring an mini games. All dynamic so it is not like I am coding and placing each one.
The game will have several NPCs along with NPC towns and ruins but will heavily be based on players building nearly everything. Hence the huge space this game has.
It has a unique collectible "trinket" system that will be used for combat and the mini games when harvesting and exploring.
Now on to what I need. I need a designer. Someone with some RPG background that help me create the world. Design stock equipment, towns, layouts, stories, ect.. You must be VERY experienced in RPG design.
You do not need any coding or art experience but art experience is a plus. I am building admin panel on the game where you can build nearly anything to help stock the game.
This game is still on the ground floor, maybe even basement level so now is a great time to jump in. I am not looking for a patsy or a slave to do my work. I am looking for someone interested in Old School RPG design who wants to see a game come to fruition. I will code 100% of it.
I of course will extend a portion of any moneys I receive from this project but can promise none. I can also give you a copy of the game at some point after its finished for a version for yourself.

Hi Halls!
I'm very sorry with my dissapearance when I was helping you before, but I had some unforseen obstacles that I had to deal with. I didn't have access to a computer for the past few months, but I'm finally back! I would love to just help out a bit if you'd like any idea's or someone to expand upon existing literature. I greatly enjoyed reading through your articles and storys on your last website and was sorry to have to leave unexpectedly soon after I began to help out. I don't currently have an AIM, or MSN as I've just returned to, "civilization", and have to use a library computer. If you have a forum or somewhere I could go to post on that would be fantastic.
The best of luck on your new idea's and inspiring take on gaming. I love to watch your progress and continue to see you improve as the years go by and can't wait to see what you have in hold next.
Best of luck,
Noah.
