Free PS3 games from PSN

While the actual announcement is fairly old news now (being announced about 3 weeks ago in articles such as this one), I figured it is worth mentioning to any PS3 owners on here that you are able to now download the 2 free games on PSN, of which 2 of them are among the most popular PS-exclusive titles to date: Little Big Planet and Infamous (the PSN store has just recently come back up to allow the downloading of the free games). While some users (myself included) have been getting some error screens, persistence has paid off and I now have both of my free games downloading. Just keep trying if you get errors. It is more than worth it to get 2 of the highest-rated exclusive games for free. There are some other choices as well, mostly coming from PSN-downloadable games. Those may be worth a download if you have other profiles on your PS3 registered on PSN that existed prior to the PSN outage, as you will be able to download 2 separate games on any other profiles.
As a side note, if you find you mysteriously don't have enough hard disk space to download the large game files, go into the main PS3 screen, scroll to games, and press up to go into the Memory Utility. Here is where you can remove data installed on the system for every game you have ever played. My wife and I actually had to remove a ton of games we had rented from it, each taking 1gb - 5gb of HDD space.
