Apotheosis Alpha (name changed)

Well I've done some more planning on the Apotheosis project so i decided to create a mini version of it for concept testing. Its not finished yet. This has come of the fact that out of my whole team i'm the only one putting any work into it. So i'm starting out very small now. The game will revolve around 1 town in order to test the more primal features of the game. This w3ill test:

+crafting system
+town construction
+Equipment
+harvesting (in town)
+PVP fighting
+4 Original religions (update!)
+and maby some more features

I will be looking for 100 testers for this test when completed. I think this a move for the best. It wont be the best game in the world but this will prevent me from dumping alot of time into a concept i don't know peoples opinion of. If you have any feedback i'll be glad to hear it.

I think the important thing is to make a game that you want to and will play, for whatever length of time you intend and want to. I think that's a trap some people here fall into - they make a game they only ever intend to GM, rather than a game they want to play. When you only ever want to GM, it's always just about trying to get people in.

Yah, well this is a game i want to play. I'm planning on being very active member in my game community. This was originally going to be a text based browser game but i decided to put the extra work into making it 3-d fully animated. But with that hard work is starting to catch up on me because i'm the only one working on it and there are few people keeping me motivated. So i'd rather downscale at first, release a pre-beta tidbit to keep everyone (including me) interested in the game. This will not be the full game, just a demo if you will of what the game will be. I'll work on the full game for another year or 2 after the release of this till the full game is finished.

Sounds like a Game I'd like to play.. or write.

Do you have a good RPG system in place? or still working on it?

Were still working out some of the details. Were mostly in the modeling stage. The game itself will be more like harvest moon like concept and less like a world of Warcraft. Were trying to break the mold with this project but because i'm really the only one working progress is rather slow.
