I know i haven't been active in the last year, but when my first .com domain expired ( 2-3 days ago ), I remembered how it all started. It started here, watching the browser mmo tutorial, learning the trade using trial and error ( but mostly error ) and halls and the rest of the gang helping us newbies out.
Anyway, since this is somewhat of an anniversary for me i decided to make a little game. To showcase how much i've impoved ( or failed to ).
Nothing complex, 3 days work. A rock, paper, scissor game. But with zombies and humans.
So without further ado, I present to you:
Zombie v. Humans http://zvh.net76.net (still in very early pre-alpha or something )
Also i forgot to mention, this is entirely text-based.
The winning conditions is simple: Exterminate the enemy (population reduced to 0).
Each side has 4 abilities and 4 and 3 stats for the humans and zombies respectively.
Humans:
Stats
- food: people need food to live; no food people start to die
- happiness: happy people attract more survivors and fight better
- weapons: you need these to kill zombies
- population: if they reach 0 you loose
- scavange: get weapons and food, some people will die during the scavange, to the zombies
- attack: go out and attack the zombies; weapons will be used and people will be happy. Zombie will die and loose their focus
- party!: people are happier when they party. Uses food.
- mine: place mines around the camp. Uses weapons. Protects entirely from the next zombie attack.
- survivors will come to your camp if you have food and are happy
- survivors will die if you dont have any food
- survivors will each eat 1 food
Stats
- population: this reaches 0, zombies lose.
- focus: focused zombies are dangerous zombies. This will boost the effect of your abilities.
- freshness: a rotting zombie is almost useless. If this reaches 0 your zombies begin to die. For good this time.
- Attack: has 4 outcomes and you loose all focus. [list]
- if the humans have mines: you loose, lots of zombies die, people are happier.
- if the hums outpower you ( clear victory ): zombies die, people are happier, they use some weapons, no hums die
- if the hums barely win: zombies dies, humans die, humans use weapons
- if zombies win (zombies win ): Zombies get freshness to full (they eat), humans die, humans use weapons, humans aren't happy anymore.

[*]Rot: you rot in the sun giving off a horrible scent. Makes the humans very unhappy. Very.[/*]

- You loose some freshness and some focus
- If freshness is 0, you begin to loose population
Green means stats have gone up or stayed the same.
Red: stats have gone down.
For now only humans can be played ( there is no bot for humans, if you play zombie ).
