Title says it all. I use a mix of Flash 8, RealDraw, MS Paint, GIMP and GameMaker's Sprite Editor. A strange mix, eh?

I've got a few software processes depending on what I'm working on

Flat animations: Flash 8 (the brushes are better) and then exported to Flash CS5.
CG animations: Bryce + Blender -> 3DS max
3d Design: Vector works + Sketch up (Schematics, etc) + Blender -> 3DS max (Render, etc.)
Design: Sketchbook (conceptual), -> Photoshop CS5
Video: After Effects CS5
Music: Vocaloid -> vocalistener + sybelius -> Melodyne -> Audacity

There's also Artrage, notepad, a pixel ruler, a colour picker, and the trusty calculator. :D

I have the impression that this is for art programs since we've had a few 3DS vs Maya vs Modo vs Messiah conversations recently, so I'll leave out my web-development software.

pax.

I`m not that much in to art, except i __have__ to use it. So i use CS4, and only Ps and Ai. But since i do like to make music once in a while ( pure hobby ) i use Logic Pro. And Garage Band for the occasional fun effect.. Hmm i know..

Other 3d programs i installed are GIMP, just to see if it could handle Ps files, which it could. But the interface sucks more then Ps itself lol.

In dev i only use: netBeans and Visual Studio, but the latter only on my PC.

3DSMax, ZBrush, photoshop, and 3d-coat (slowly trying to narrow out zbrush except for hobby use, need to stay brushed up on it since its big in the working environment)

3D-Coat in my freelace work has decreased my retopology time DRASTICALLY. Still havent used it for sculpting. but it has taken a major place in my heart as a major tool.
