I was looking at Messiah Studio and was curious if this is worth it:

$10. How can it not be worth it?

The question is whether you want the $10 or $40 one.

There is no indication of the date the offer ends on the page. I remember it being just at 50% on the 9th two/three days ago, so it's definitely moving.

If the bar doesn't reach the end, you'll get a refund, so there's nothing to loose.

For everyone out there who know's a relative or friend who's into CG modelling or animation, this would be a good investment for christmas presents. I'm sure they would appreciate it. For $10, you don't have much to loose

By the way, if this ends up to be a marketing strategy where they eventually cancel the deal but refund everyone's money and use the hype as free advertising, I think a lot of people will be angry.

By my estimates, there should be a day or two left till it reaches the goal and the offer ends. You should still have time if you hurry.

Some food for though - How come this year, the cost of all our development software is getting discounted: Bigworld, Hero engine, etc?

I really want to get this, but if I'm going to get it I'd go all out and get the multi-core 64-bit version..but I can't justify spending $40 on a piece of software I havn't seen in action yet, especially when moneys tight after dropping so much for my trip to cali...

Hmmmmm.

There is an evaluation version of Messiah, but with only a day or so to go, there wouldn't be much time to get a feel of the workflow.

Your best option would be to check out some reviews and videos of Messiah.

That's awesome. I however did not. A friend bought it and he said he probably would never use it, so I may take it off his hands!! He bought it because of how expensive it normal is...lol

My rational was that for $10, it would a be a great gift for some people I know.
