Well, I get an hour every day for lunch. For the past few weeks, I have mostly been filling that hour with more work whilst I eat whatever I got from the Cafeteria as I have very little I could do while at work. Then I decided, why not make some cool stuff.
So I am going back to my roots, I'm going to design a level that we can use for testing stuff in ArpyG. So I talked to Xezero, and we came up with a great idea. How about you guys in the community suggest what type of stuff you want to see in this level? Since you know, we are building arpyG for for all you indie guys out there.
So suggest away. But at lunchtime tomorrow (Sometime between 11:30 and 1:30 EST) I stop taking suggestions and make the design sheets that will guide the next week of modeling.

Re: The Art Off (For ArpyG)
can you give us some examples or more info on what exactly we should be suggesting? Like we talking about a single level design like a cavern with traps and a goblin horde at the end? If so what technology level are we looking at and what genre?
Re: The Art Off (For ArpyG)
Could be anything. I am just making a level, no real plans for use. Just because.
Re: The Art Off (For ArpyG)
Welp. No responses..... so I am thinking, I will just make a fantasy game level. Maybe victorian-era ish. Tired of straight medieval.
Re: The Art Off (For ArpyG)
will this be a city area or a rural area?
And if the time is not up, i would like to give a suggestion:
some kind of open space map, wit a lake in the middle, and some epic large columns or rocks spread here and there. This way, you could test water shaders, bilboarding for grass, maybe LOD for trees, and the large rocks can see how good the engine can handle such big models (plus they are just damn cool )
Anyway these are just suggestions, feel free not to use any
