yes I am still on crap daddy and god it only gets worse. They are migrating all my servers and have locked me out of everything. I cannot access my account for 72 hours! 3 Days!!! The customer service rep argued with me the whole time on the phone. Saying 3 days isn't that long and if I want access to my database then write a script. I told him that is not the point, you can't just lock me out with little to no warning then expect me to write massive import scripts because it takes you 3 days to migrate a small DB.

I am making the move in January off of Godaddy.

Godaddy does not allow 3rd party connections to your DB's.

I am not sure yet where i will move.

Perhaps the 'customer service' rep could go without electricity for three days and see if it's not a long time. See if he's fine with a service he's come to rely upon, suddenly pulled out from under him.

And that is even a light analogy since electricity is really more about comfort, whereas your host account is some user's livelihood, their business and their reputation.

I just think Godaddy has become the Wal-Mart of web hosts. Far too big for their own good, so the smaller-scale parts begin to go bad.

i will say the Office of the President from Godaddy called me just now after I sent them a nasty email about the customer service reps attitude. They were very apologetic for that's worth.

I'm sorry, I've turned you in to the inadvertant pun police for that...
