Halls, would it be easy to change the forum to open external links in a separate window (other browser tab for most everyone now)? It would be much easier to get back to the forum that way after looking through an external page. Thanks!

I just tend to right-click open in a new tab.

I haven't found it in the admin section before...I just looked it up in the forum I am using for our "office" and its not an option. Just allow use of links or not, thats it.

You can also open links in new tabs by clicking them with the middle mouse button, I use that all the time :)

Wow, I just learned something new! LOL...I didn't know that. Much easier the right-click - open in a new tab! :)

But I don't have a middle mouse button, though :P Never had a use for one before.

I think what Noctrine said would fix it, because Taylor fixed it to open in new tabs on MMORPGMaker before as well. That is probably how he did it.

Taylor vs. phpbb vs joomla = fail :P inside joke

there is a setting, it is in the actual coding and not the bbcode, but will fix the bbcode as noc suggested, Thanks noc.

Try holding ctrl while clicking the link, not a "good" solution, as it's equal to right click and open in new tab, though it involves less clicks :)
