So I finally tried it out and must say I am not impressed. Graphics are less than oblivion, cut scenes are about equal to Morrowind. Gameplay and little quests are really weak. Now I only played for about 15 minutes so I may not have let it get good but you know what they say. Capture the player in the beginning or lose them forever.

Installed Fallout 2 and started playing it Loved part 1 and never got around to getting very far in 2 so figured I would give it a try.

To me Dragon Age is not worth the 15 Gigs of hard drive it takes up. Fallout 2 is worth the 700 megs

and I have 4 TB of space

I love how the 700 MB installation is called HUMONGOUS in the options

haha well I was explaining to my girlfriend how when I got my first non 286 computer I bought Doom brand new just as it came out. Back then Wal-Mart had all the computers on display and Doom and Wolfenstien was on all of them. They had windows 3.1 and it was the shiznight. It was a 12 meg install I believe. I had a top o' line 486 with a 120 meg hard drive.

Back then 12 megs was HUGE, Dragon Age is 15,000 megs!! hard to believe.

My fiancee played all the way through Dragon Age and really enjoyed it. She wanted me to check it out so I rolled a Magi and played for about 20 minutes. While the graphics were quite poor by today's AAA standards and considering her computer specs, but even the first few minutes of the story were enough to pull me in. I will probably play some more.

hehe maybe just me then. I was not impressed. Started paying fallout tactics instead.

Graphics: crap.
Storyline: crap.
Armor: crap.
Total: crap.

I would have enjoyed this game if there was a little more freedom to do stuff, but no matter what character you chose, you always ended up with the gay wardens. I was hoping you could have chosen to fight against them or something more interesting. I got about half way through the story with a bezerker guy and got so bored I nearly puked out of my rear and crapped out of my mouth, before coming back to life after dieing(of boredom).

I was hoping the game would have been a little like Fable. I wish Fable 2 came out for PC. Fable is the best RPG ever.

Really? I thought Fable was just decent.

i enjoyed Fable quite a bit. One of the few games I have seen to the end.
