Iam not sure what you mean. If you mean that yours is not transparent like mine then stop using IE! Older versions did not allow png transparencies.

I know what he is saying, he is saying like when you click on an image of the map, say it's a plain green square for now, how do you make it so that the Player image is ontop of the plain green square and the background of the screen where your player is standing is gone

I was able to download the Forsaken Sanctum code when I got home and take a look at it. I checked the png file you use for the player and noticed that it had a transparent background around the player image.

I had been wondering if you had used html or some other language code to set the background to transparent. After looking at the image and loading it into gimp I now realize that something like photoshop or gimp was probably used to make the background around the player transparent and not code in the web pages.

In case anyone else has a question on how to change an image background to transparent, here is a link to a tutorial on how to set the back ground of an image to transparent/alpha using gimp. Gimp is free software that you can use if you don't want to go out and buy photoshop.

Ohh yeah I guess a transparent background would work the best. I have adobe fireworks so I use that to make all of my pictures and stuff

I have a few things to say/ask:

1: Thank you Halls!!! You are awesome for doing this tutorial :D :!:
2: How would you do this but with the map not a perfect square?
3: Where did you get the pictures? Did you make them?
4: Will you/have you make/made a tutorial video on publishing the game you've made?
5: Would you have to make a new table for every map/room you want?
:ugeek: May the force be with you! :geek:
