Hello everyone, I was going to post this under a suggestion topic thing but there wasn't one so I thought this might be the most ideal place to put this. Have any of you wanted to make money before but you just didn't like the ways you could make it? Well I have a solution. It's not a bad way to make money and over time you will start to make more and more. The best part about this is that you can put this into your game. So here's the idea.

My idea is to make a browser game however you want it. Maybe have resources or something like that and have gold. Say that you needed a certain amount of resources to make a building and a certain amount of gold, and the only way you can get resources is by like doing jobs. Now let's say that your player didn't want to do these jobs to get resources and he just wanted to get them instantly. Well if you do this he can. All you would have to do is make a new link or something on the game saying but resources or buy gold. They click on it and it takes you to a page saying like buy 5,000 bars of iron for $10.00 or however much you want. He might think it's a good deal and he wants to buy it. So put a buy button next to it and link it to paypal or something. Now I don't know how you would do it (sorry I just don't know too much programming or scripting to know how to do it) but you would have to make it so that when he buys it the resources go to his acount and bam. You just made 10 dollars. As the more people you get the more money you will start to make. This is my idea. Give some feedback on it!

This is a basic microtransaction system. Many games do it, but you really don't want to let players buy something as crucial as resources. Something like that would cause a lot of animosity in the playerbase because players would perceive that they have to buy items to succeed. Players typically don't stick around games when they feel that way, even though they may be willing to buy items in another game. Typically, many successful MMOs sell non-crucial items, cosmetic items, or items that just save a bit of time.

yeah you have a good point. And yeah I horny idea from how all the other text based games make money

Best way to make money now and the easiest is to have ads on your site.
