I have always wanted to make a web based mmo with both 3d and text based play...
this adds a interesting flare to it

That would be cool to have? in MMO games like EVE. Have an actual video feed and news on the news billboards.
After the news casts you could replace with commercials from paid sponsors maybe?

Could be a cool extra feature when people access a computer ingame they actually access the real internet

oh man that would be sweet, you could also have it access a website you build for the game only. Like a fake website that has fake companies or stories or whatever....very interesting.
