No I think it was just a few months ago they made it an optional auto checked update. Meaning they checked it for you but it was "optional" :). Sorta like how I keep saying no to IE8.

I keep saying no to IE8 (since I don't touch IE and don't want to bother with it), but it seems to be getting more insistent on Vista. Normally it is just "check no, ok done". But last time I had to struggle with it for a few seconds to say no. I am worried it will soon start making threats. :shock:

my aunt(who is a very small time movie star) recently allowed the new IE8 update go through and it totally trashed her PC. It made another account and named it temp37434934(something) then attached it to her account. The DVD drive wont recognize any cds but music cds now unless I boot with knoppix, and all of the save points for recovery are dead.

$bad = terrible mistake that will screw your computer;
IE8 = $bad;
IE8 = IE8 *($bad * 10000000000000000);

Lol wth? I haven't heard of that yet. But I just don't use IE because its a horrible web browser. Firefox, Opera are in my opinion the best in the business of web browser.

It is kind of weird, since there are so many reasons to hate IE, but to me, the most annoying part about IE are all the "popping noises" it makes when it is loading pages. Why are you popping you piece of crap?!?! :shock:
