Another newcomer :)

I've already made a couple posts here at indie-resources, but I figured an introduction would be nice. I've been looking into creating browser games a while, and stumbled upon this site a few months ago. I've been following hallsofvallhalla's tutorials and experienced that they rocketed me into dev mode 
I had never done any PHP before, but now I've started to make my game(s). Hehe, I have so many ideas I struggle to focus on the one I've decided to go for.
Anyway, a few words about me: I'm 24 years old, from Norway and I'm studying for a bachelor in programming (on 1st year of 3).
I've started to create a login system that I intend to reuse in later projects too. And I've also started to make a few pages for my game, but basically they're to test if my plans make any sense and to see if I can get it done with what I know about PHP.
The idea I have for my project is a racing manager type of browser game. The players take the role as a team manager, and needs to find a team, sponsor and car to race with. And his team's performance will be compared to other players.
I don't really know that much about auto racing, but I figured it would be a fun game to create, rather than the typical medieval ones.
Anyway, I'll be lurking around here and post when I got something sensible to say!
