3D Demo from my first class

Wow, sounds a bit complicated (I'm not that good with animations)

Camera movement is actually simple. I'm not sure what program you're using, but in 3DS Max it's a piece of cake.ZeroComp wrote:Wow, sounds a bit complicated (I'm not that good with animations)
In 3DS Max, there's an "Auto-Key" function. When this is enabled, any time you move an object it creates a new keyframe with the new information at the frame you're currently on. So, for the camera, I just would turn on autokey, and move to, lets say, frame 30. I would then move the camera to the point where I want it to be, and viola, it's moved there. Max automatically figured out the tweening (movement between Frame X and Frame Y) to make it smooth.

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind if I ever decide to use 3Ds Max. Right now I'm sticking with Blender.

Re: 3D Demo from my first class
Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure Blender has a similar animation system to Max. I'm sure it's a little different, but I think I remember hearing that Blender was similar.ZeroComp wrote:Thanks! I'll keep that in mind if I ever decide to use 3Ds Max. Right now I'm sticking with Blender.
