Re: Undiscovered Online
I tried 5. Looks better, though I dont have a screenie for it yet, as I have been working on getting my planet surface built up. This is what I have right now: (Custom GUI (Built in PSP), and in 3rd person (the character is from the 3rd person tutorial, Lerpz)). I know there isn't much to the world, but I am slowly going to build on this, and start building the other worlds that you can walk on. To get my scripts for each planet that transport you down to work properly...more planet screenies will be coming soon...

Here is a new screenie with buildings and new trees in the scene. Still have trouble trying to get the character to walk, but decorating the scene fairly easy. Anyway here it is:

Re: Undiscovered Online
Alright, so guess what?! I had to change the character, and I re-wrote the 3rd person script...it now WORKS!!!
You can try it at:
http://scorpiusgroup.host22.com/test/Un ... sting.html
Unfort, I believe that this game will be too BIG to do as a web browser, so once another world gets put together, it will be moving to a stand alone. But I will let everyone know when that happens...so I will include a Windows Standalone and a MAC standalone both.
Anyway the ship controls for the space ship remain the same.
When on the planet:
W - moves forward
S - moves backward
A - turns left
D - turns right
ctrl+W - Runs
After you leave the prefab when on the planet surface, to return to the ship, just turn around and click on the spawn/prefab. Included is a screenie, for those that don't want to test it out!!
Enjoy...FEEDBACK WELCOME!

Thanks! There is basically only one other helping with the game, and he is designing all the star systems, I am designing the planet surfaces and programming what I can in the process...thanks!!Sakar wrote:Wow, you guys are making great progress on the game!

I like those startup screens - nice and clean, no clutter to get in the way
