I know...but to find out that there is a planet there and there is life, would be EXCITING! Just finding out that we are not along here, would change our history, as well as theirs...

But would it change it for the good or worse...because you know up front would cause chaos and panic, churches would go nuts (except the Catholic Church) I only say that because here recently on Fox News talked about a Vatican Conference regarding alien life...http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,573806,00.html - But in the end, would IMO be a fun ride!

Thats because Americas the only country that has about 60% of its people with a higher level of alchohol in their blood than blood. Of course you could look at Amy Winehouse and say the same thing about the UK...

Anyway I havent told anyone beause Im pretty sure I was just seeing things. I was in the house alone cause my parents were away to some wedding for the weekend, I was hearing noises outside that I didnt normally hear and when I looked out into my back garden through a gap in the curtain I seen a face with large, dull, yellow eyes, and looked like a grey, clay sculpture, I seen it blink and I panicked and snapped the gap in the curtains shut. I looked again a few seconds later and it wasnt there.

As I said, Im sure I was seeing things, my imaginations pretty wierd sometimes when nobody else is home, the same night after I calmed down enough I managed to force myself to leave my room so I could go to the toilet before my bladder burst, the layout of my house has the bathroom right next to my room so I sprinted between doors I didnt bother with the lobby light so it was dark when I came out of the bathroom, the door of the bathroom faces the front door with about 10ft distance between them.

I looked at the door and thought I seen the outline of a human about 6 1/2 ft tall and really skinny. I went to the door with my cricket bat and when I opened the door there was nothing there, nothing I could see would have made that shape against the window, the light just outside my house was broken too wich made me worse.

I hadnt been drinking, nothing else out of the ordinary, when Im in the house alone at night I usually hear noises which everyone does if theyre not used to it so... and I havent seen the movie, but I thought it was just BASED on a true story, as in not actual footage of the encounter. I seen a movie that done the same thing as that before and it had the same thing with the going staticy and stuff when they should be looking at the aliens. Which if the ridiculous story in the last Indiana Jones movie (yes he got raped by Lucas and Spielberg) where the aliens are extremely magnetized then getting close with a camera would make it do something like that, but also wipe the tape and probably break the camera. Them always coming at night could be explained in that they dont want to be seen, knowing anything the people that see them say will be struck down as them being drunk etc.

Im putting my bets on Area 51 being revealed in the next couple of decades, maybe thats what the prediction of 2012 is? Area 51 telling the world that they have been communicating with aliens I dont know if I really seen what I seen or if I was just me imagining it, hey I could have been asleep and just dreaming it

Actually, the US has a low alcohol consumption rate compared to other countries in the world I think Russia and Japan are nearly double our consumption rates per person. Most countries in Europe have many, many more people that drink, but less instances of binge drinking. However, I think the UK is closer to being like the US in that regard than say, Italy or France. Honestly, drugs are much more likely to cause false alien sightings than alcohol, since alcohol rarely causes hallucinations. Some drugs also can cause psychotic paranoia, whereas alcohol does just the opposite. I know some US alien sightings have been tied to methamphetamine use, which definitely can cause realistic hallucinations.

Yeah but I took into consideration that the US has a lot more people than most of the world, and alot more people living in the middle of nowhere by themselves that constantly drink, and I bet a lot of them use drugs such as meth. Russia has an excuse for their alcohol consumption (Vodka yum) and I know from nights out and just drinking with people in general that the UK has a higher tolerance for drink than the US (I knew a lot of people in the US and most of them were drunk after a quarter of what it takes for me to even begin to get drunk). And I sort of agreed with the consumption difference with the US and UK when I mentioned Amy Winehouse

Say what? Alcohol is alcohol and humans are humans, for the most part (there are some racial tolerance differences, but they are minor). There is no "American" race, either lol. We are Scots, Irish, English, African, Asian, Hispanic, Native, etc. So any anecdotal evidence of Americans having lower tolerance to alcohol likely depends on who you were with. It really depends on age, weight, gender and drinking history (with long-term users actually having a lower tolerance). The reason for long-term alcohol users having a lower tolerance is because of increased damage to the liver, and decreased ability to metabolize it.

I definitely agree with you about the meth users in the middle of nowhere. Meth has been called the "small town drug epidemic". A combination of the toxicity of meth and prolonged sleep deprivation can cause extremely vivid hallucinations.

I know that argument lol, I use it against any American that thinks they can take the piss out of a Scot, always a good comeback explaining to them that they only have history of about 200 years, probably a lot less and that they are likely my cousin in some way or another Im not saying that all Americans have a lower tolerance level but back to the people that live in the middle of nowhere and drink all the time, you made my point by saying the more someone drinks the less tolerant they are to alchohol
