it sounds like you have a issue with wamp, go onto the wamp forum and ask there. They are quick to respond and we have had members do ti and get the problem resolved very quickly.

You've got a lot of toolbars.
You should try disabling shit you dont need.
Bing? Seriously, what is that.

Anyway, you can type localhost into the explorer window too!
Try it, go to my computer or something, and type it in the address line.
It will open this "localhost" in your "default browser" but I think its worth trying, maybe bypass this "bing" shit you have going on.

okay okay, what about 127.0.0.1 ? that is the same as localhost....
That also works for me.
And they must be http :(

Normally, you -should- get an error like "connection refused" or "404" but your problem is the -search engine-
To remove this bing search engine, check http://www.fettesps.com/how-to-uninstall-bing/
You have to remove that piece of shit to make localhost work
