In response to neronix17's comment. I learn the same way, reverse engineering for the win. I've taken apart the source code, had a friend delete random lines from it and then gone back to troubleshoot it. It's brought me a long way in a short period of time. Still nothing beats having some one physically explain in real time how/why things work.

yeah work has been hell lately. I have been swamped with meetings and projects. It should slow down though here real soon.

Looking forward to the next installment. This series has helped me immeasurably, not that I'm a n00b to SQL or PHP, but I've never seen a tutorial on using SQL databases in games before so it really helped me to formulate my ideas and implement them via php and sql.

I'm working on a strategy mmorpg type game at the moment, just based off of the ideas you put forth in these tuts. When I get to a somewhat playable state, I'll upload it and post a link here to show what can be done with hallsofvallhalla's engine.

i have been absent due to my work being incredibly busy atm. I do have a whole bunch of new tuts going up and some new website changes coming very very soon. Just have to bear with me for a moment.

any idea at all when the next vid, or set of vids will be up? hopefully soon
