so any ideas on what i can do to get it working? i had another go at google but its so confusing looking at random posts in other forums :(

Edit: Also, I would move to godaddy but I cant use my card. The only way I could would be using PayPal but I had paypal blocked from my account (was being charged for stuff I wasnt ordering). I only have a debit card and will never have a credit card.

I was looking around. I have found that x10 hosting has a free package for ssi and cron. Can't remember how much space they have though. Yes I know that free hosting is not good. I have not tried these out. I will have to.

Nothing wrong with free web-hosts if you find one with the right features, Im waiting on my account on one of them to be activated (within 24hrs my ass), it has all the things Il need for my game to work ^_^

isnt x10 a sub section for the people who also run 000hosting or what ever it is?

i was reading on their site about other 'trusted sites' or summert. and there were serveral companies with different names. but offered an exact replica that 000 offered. looked into one of them (im sure it was summert similar as the above name) and it turned out to be just another name for the hosting company who run 000.
New Site Coming Soon! Stay tuned :D

a cron is just a script that is ran at different times. Windows scheduler is that i use to run my local cron jobs .. but most servers run crons .. you can test it by simply running it .. and then setting it up as a cron job once you have webspace/package.
