The bodies of both of those jets are much bigger, heavier and less aerodynamic (I linked at least one of those videos above, if not both). That explains the slower take off. Also, the first video is trained on the jet much better, which removed the sense of speed that you see in the original video. If you are only seeing the jet, you won't have a sense of speed as to how fast it is going. The other one simply watched the jet speed by in the sky. Remember that it is not that high off the ground, so I don't estimate it to be doing much more than 160 MPH. 180 maybe, tops.

I believe the above video is real. It would be very difficult to fake the video or speed it up because of the natural shakiness of the camera. If sped up, it would begin to to look like it was wiggling very fast. It would be a very difficult fake.

I am not saying it is for sure fake. Just my guess. I need more proof.

the only way it will ever be proven if it was to been seen.

i do see where you are comming from, but lets face it. with current technology many things are possable.

If having a pilot on board is not a criteria, then the X-43 is said to be the fastest airplane in the world. The X-43 is an unmanned scramjet, which launches not from the ground but from a B-52 at about 40,000 feet (12.2 kilometers) in the air. On 16 November 2004, the X-43 reached Mach 9.6 (7,000 miles or 11,265 kilometers per hour) according to NASA. Some claim that it reached Mach 9.8.

I think this is kind of a trick of the camera's mic. Keep in mind that while these mini-turbines sound like their full-sized brethren, they are a minuscule fraction of the size, so they are not actually emitting as much sound as it may seem on the video. The camera used to capture this video almost certainly has a directional mic, tuned to pick up sounds only directly in front of it (to keep you from picking up ambient sound not meant to be heard on the video). While the jet is taking off directly in front of the camera, the sound seems very loud. In reality, it probably is quite loud. But as the jet flies off, and it leaves the direct view of the camera, the jet sound is going to grow very quiet, very quickly. The jet is also quite small, and is going to be lost by the camera at a relatively close distance.

So basically, it looks and sounds like the jet has flown a mile away, and then zips back in, when in reality it has likely only flown a couple hundred feet away or so in those couple of seconds, and then comes back into camera shot, making it sound like that loud jet just flew back in from a long distance away. In reality, those flying the jet probably always could hear it quite well the whole time. The camera just didn't pick it up once it was a little ways away, by design.

Well at one point you hear the two guys talking, and the guy's voice doesn't sound quieter than the engine does, they are pretty proportional, he was just talking and the sound of the engine at it's peak was only a little louder..

Exactly. That the engine sounds so loud is a trick of the directional mic on the camera due to the camera being pointed directly at the jet. I had to deal with oddities with sound like that all the time when I was in an acting troupe who used to try to do filming on a Sony digital camcorder when I was a bit younger.
