I wish I could have the energy of youth, but while being an adult. I am probably one of the few people who doesn't wish he was a child again.

Nope, you're not the only one :)

I like being an adult, even with all the associated worries, but I wish I had the energy my 8-year old son has :)

i would love to be a kid again but yet I would never redo my childhood :) I love being a adult far better than a child but I miss the worry free feel.

The thing is, at least for me, was that my problems when I was a kid felt like huge problems. I worried as much about my kid stuff as I would ever worry about my adult problems. Kid problems were things such as kids you didn't get along with, tests you were worried you may do bad on, getting in to trouble with Dad, etc. lol
