If there was ever a reason to own a ps3, this is it!

Keep it clean but fun.

If anything, this game is much closer to Joint Operations, which was very similar to this. I loved JO, and it was hectic fun.

Meh, the PS3 needs something in the US right now. I have both systems, but PS3 is seriously falling apart and losing exclusive titles left and right.

What about titles like Little Big Planet and Drakes Uncharted. I don't wanna get in too much of a discussion cause I have a serious hate for 360 so I'm a PS3 man, also I've played playstation since it started and I'm a faithful customer so I am biased :P

*EDIT* sorry thought of more ps3 exclusives. Metal Gear Solid, God of War, Resistance(not great), Final Fantasy and inFamous..

I've played all of these and they blew my mind with how well some of these were done. The only ones for 360 was Halo and Gears of War, both game I actually disliked alot, and my friends that own a 360 say they suck after a month of playing..

Final Fantasy is no longer exclusive. That was one of the big ones that started the "What happened to Sony in the USA?" discussions. However, the loss of Tekken was also major, the hush-hushed game "Quantum Theory" will now also come to 360, and there have even been rumors of a Metal Gear Solid coming to 360 (although that is nowhere near confirmed. Basically, anything that is not made by Sony is going to be coming out on 360 as well, whereas in the PS2 days, Sony was king of the exclusive third-party deals which really put a dagger in the Xbox. I am hoping that God of War III will be the one that really gets Sony back on the right track, since it was the most anticipated game of 2010 by most reviewers and media outlets. Maybe if it drums up more console sales it will reinvigorate third-party trust. Like I said, I have both systems, and I want good games on both :)

@ZeroComp:

That is where the problems started for Sony. They used the PS3 as a launch pad for BlueRay players. Including the BD player capability drove the price through the roof at launch, which hurt sales. Did it help the BlueRay format win against HD-DVDs? Absolutely, but Sony paid for it with sluggish sales of their console which caused third-party developers to really think about creating exclusive titles for the harder-to-develop PS3.

Yeah I know! I was what 10 at launch and I said "Mom I really need to get this" and she looked at the price and she nearly had a heart attack :lol: but why so cheap now? is it because so many people bought the seperate blu-ray players? Sometimes I just don't get the market :roll:

Well, the BlueRay technology has gotten cheaper. When a new piece of technology comes out, the pieces are typically specially made, plus they are having to be compensated for all of the research and development. Now other companies are making cheaper pieces, and the debt is paid off, so they can go for less. Sometimes further advancements in the technology can also make it cheaper.

Also, console prices have to go down to stat competitive. Buyers just wouldn't except paying the same price 4 years after launch, because it has never been that way in the past. Eventually (and often even starting at launch), the consoles are selling for less than they cost to make to be competitive. They are just banking on you buying games for the system, which makes them lots of money.

I think that's uncalled for...

I'm not sure what your point is in this post. Are you bragging that you only pirate games? Or are you bragging that you only play free games? I couldn't care less either way, but calling someone an idiot because they have a different mindset than you is not necessary.

I buy games all the time. Just like I buy books and DVDs and CDs. I play free games, if they are decent, but I will also gladly pay for a quality gaming experience. Most free games out there are good for a short diversion, but a lot of them have no lasting playability.
