Ye my friends just a few miles north had -37C (-34F) a few days ago.

I'm scared to see our gas bill this month - the first day of the billing period we got 7 inches of snow. 3 weeks later, it's still on the ground and we haven't been above freezing in close to 2 weeks. My furnace is pretty much running nonstop

This is the season where I feel quite lucky, living in Houston. Shorts weather officially ended last week, but it will be time to break them out again next week.

Well, I get mine in the summer. People talk about it being below freezing for weeks at a time, but in the summer here it is over 100 for weeks at a time. 90 degrees at 3am is a strange thing to get used to lol.

I have actually started getting used to it. This last summer was my second one here, and it didn't bother me too badly. Not like the first summer, where I was dying after ten minutes outside.

Do you live in Kansas too?
We usually get about 2-3 weeks of 100+ every day in the summer here too. And joy, oh joy, ours comes with high humidity, so we get heat indices near 120.
