ezrpg editing and moding

i found a lot of php browser game scripts,im not a pro in scripting and a lot of people are not.

so if somone can make a tutorial that will make it simple to understand how to modify the php scripts of those open source games.

I would honestly stick with the tutorials that halls is putting up, found here, rather than running out and modifying the package. Start with video 1 then build up from there. They are easy to understand and follow and achieve the same thing as EZRPG. He is slowly adding features too it and soon it will become better than EZRPG. Follow along with the rest of us.

I had no idea how to interact php and mysql when I started now I'm doing a lot of stuff on my own. The extent of my php usage was including other files into my pages and modifying phpbb layouts. Again this would be your best starting points, you might actually learn something along the way.

i already started halls lesons im in 4 with a part i got stuck in.

never use source directly. ESSPECIALLY if you dont know what your doing entirely.

you just wont learn, i made a post on this some time ago... i think that if you use sources directly, you just dont learn aswell as doing it yourself and using sources as a guide.

Halls sources are all well and good, but from smoewhere like that, you just dont really know what kind of shite they have put in there. could be scripts runnin to pass personal information around to god knows where. they could have backdoors on them allowing the developer of the sources to come and fuck your game up. so much stuff to go wrong its not worth even considering tbh.
