So, i have like one month till the finals and i'm starting to doubt if i will get in some college.. (my life will just end..) So like a reasonable person, i'm thinking in a plan B.
Of course nowadays its near impossible to live with indie game development (i know about minecraft, amnesia etc etc, but cmon wanna compare my games with those?)... The more years that i live, the more i think that it's harder to come up with something new.
So in the lack of good ideas, or maybe the lack of time to fulfill those good ideas, i start remembering my first 3D Game, Road to Darkness, a horror survival game.
As the first 3D Game and first official one, i think it got a lot of success, it even got played by RUSSIANS! "WTF RUSSIANS?", you say, YEAH RUSSIANS!
All this for a month of production, being this month 80% to learn how to do it, since i was starting unity from scratch. So yeah..
Well if you are still reading sorry for the whole life story, but my question is, "Is it a good idea to do a sequel of a old game?" (by old i mean October 2012) I ask this because you know that if Call of Duty wouldn't give any money there wouldn't be more of them you know. But this game as my first, it kinda feels it's special
What you think?
