Game in a weekend

I need a boost. BADLY. I have let everything else tie me up and my development has went down hill. I am challenging myself to do a game in a weekend, this weekend starting today. I will not have the whole weekend but I am going to push myself to work on as much as I can and try to have a finish product for playing by Sunday night. Anyone wanting to join in the challenge feel free to. I can host your game if need be.

FYI I am working on a adventure browser game where we all compete against each other with new games every week.

Weekend I spend it with my family. So normally no coding for me. However goodluck with your project, and please share your result.

No rules, Just have a game ready for everyone to play by sunday night.

The game will be up for everyone to play and compete with each other so definitely sharing results and eventually source code.

Halls.. im not as top level as you are probably my game result wont be as good as yours

But i will do a small HTML5 game (my first) since i want to know more about javascript games. I could continue my long time series (my first game ever) a top down shooter which i called Shoot2Survive. I started 2d, then i moved to 3d but it was never released officialy since it was just to get every knowledge in place

Did you receive a license file with your ImpactJS? Otherwise I really have no idea. The details on that likely would have been given when you got to download it.

I contacted the creator or the admin at least, and he said it was okay for no commercial games. But what if it turns a big hit? xD

Does anyone knows a free good html5 + javascript game engine like impact? I want to start making some web games with html but i dont want to learn (waste time) on an engine that i will drop out eventually.. so i kinda want one to stick till i die xDD

Impact is the one and you have a perfect license. It is free until it starts making money, so when that happens buy the engine!

Well... Now being the most honest person alive, i cant do it commercially without a license..

But i can try.. i think no one will judge me right? If someone complaints and i see the game is "famous" (that dream...) i would buy ofc.

Get ready halls tomorrow i will spent from 12am to 5pm working on it.. watch yourself (im gonna lose.. xDD)
