Hey guys, im near release of my second 3d game made with unity, and this time, i wanna start making some profit. So i heard about Union.
For what i understood, i think they use your project files, then build it for more platforms that you would build. Like im planning to deploy for MAC and WINDOWS and they build for Android or something.
They keep 20% of any profit, and give the rest to you if any.
Anyone have tried it? Any opinion?

Since it is Unity, couldn't you convert to Android and other platforms yourself and keep 100% of the profit? What else do they do that provides value?

Well you could, but the Android license costs 400$
And you are not 100% sure it will give you that much profit.. So they do that for you.

That's true, and it may be a good option while testing the waters or while making smallish or very indie games. However, if you made a large game that very well could make some money, it may be a worthy investment to just get the license. Of course it is a dream, but if your app exploded in popularity overnight and it makes $10,000 or more, it would stink to give them $2000+ of it to avoid buying a $400 license

yeah true story..
I will use this in my tower defense game, as it is a casual game, it wont make that much so its ok to test the project union.
