Hello I'm Justin. I made this account in January but I never posted in one of these forums. I now decided to post to get my name out there. Anyways I'm a huge fan of browser-based games. My birthday was on the 24th of February and I have been banned from Eclipse, XtremeWorlds and Genesis 2D. So, I thought I'd make my own MMORPG engine called Esernol MMO Engine, hence the signature. I have knowledge of programming in PHP, MySql, JQuery, and of course Visual Basic 6. I know I won't get banned from this friendly community (or will I ), but seriously I wont because I need this to be a successful attempt to help me make this engine. Currently I have no help and I really need some. So, anyways thanks and I wish all of you the best of luck.

Lol, yeah, you're probably right. The Eclipse community is a little weird and power-hungry wannabes that rag on other types of mmo makers like XW G2D even though they used the same source and pretty much the same features. Also XW is not releasing the source to the public and Genesis 2D isn't either. It just gets me so angry... Lol, anyways thanks and good luck to you (if you have any undergoing projects).

Actually, I think he will fit in just fine haha. I also got banned from the Eclipse forums, and I think Halls did to. Basically, the mods there love feeling like they are the gods of the community and are the most technically advanced, and if someone shows up who can actually mod the source code in VB6 and answer people's questions, they feel threatened. At that point they will ban you just for helping people and claim you were "spamming the forums". I was specifically banned for having a back-and-forth conversation with someone who was trying to make mods to the timer code in Eclipse, and they called that spamming even though it was back-and-forth with the thread author and I was answering his questions lol. I don't know what happened to that community, but they made some horrendous choices about who to make moderators, and I guess feel embarrassed to take the power away from them? I have no idea, because surely the admin knows there is a problem with who is in charge unless they are just as bad haha.

Haha! I can understand that, but the VB6 MMO engine forums are special cases. It is like a stamp of sanity to be banned from them

I too have been banned from those sites so no biggie. They ban most people with any knowledge of game development.
