I do and people usually comment on them.

I try to. It is a lot easier to keep up with it by using the little, tiny "Blogs" button in the upper-right corner near the logout link. That takes you to a view where you can see new blog posts and new comments, almost like all the blogs are a collective forum section, but just laid-out a bit differently.
