Post by Paronamixxe »

thanks in advance!!

Big Time? What does big time mean? There are 3 types of developers in my book. Indie Hobbiest. No money, or teams, just building games for the fun of it. Indie Developers - Have $3k-$20k to spend on making a game and plan on making money on it. Commercial(AAA) The big boys. EA, Blizzard, eect.

For the money of Big World Indie, really...there is almost nothing else. Of course I hear that Hero Engine has dropped their price down and moved to a stronger royalty system, and in that case, Hero could definitely be a way to go. More of it is done (it ships with more of a framework), but it is much deeper than Big World, so it probably evens out, work-wise.
