Jeez, looks as strong as the Xbox 360 or so. Definitely way more powerful than the PS2, which the PSP itself was close to. Looks very impressive, but I do wonder how game developers are going to use the rear touch pad, as that still seems quite strange.

yeah was wondering that as well. I got an email about the new engine out for it. They are only licensing to $$$$

I would figure as much. Tools become more accessible as the system goes on. You have to be a large AAA to get access to a kit for the system's launch. Also I have not seen much interest from Sony in supporting indies with their systems.
