Started playing it again. Never got very far. if you know any good mods/secrets/kewl things post them here.

Don't get me wrong, it is a neat game and it obviously did something right considering the near pure devotion some players show it, but I never liked it myself. I guess I am just a child of story-heavy, non-sandbox jRPGs.

yeah, it tries to pull you in to immerse you in it's environment but it doesn't work. There is too much story with little to lead you into it.

There are tons of story "bits" that try to connect together, but in the end, it seems Bethesda wanted the game to be more non-linear and had to sacrifice some linearity of the story, thus turning it into puzzle pieces that have to fit together.

Not that this is a bad thing, as it really seems to be the way American and European RPGs are heading, but I guess what I meant was "a child of linear-story-heavy jRPGs".
