From a business prospective yes. The only business on Xezero's mind is the bit of it that makes it to his wallet at the end. Outside of that, its all code!

However much your logic made sense, that's not what Compuware is doing...they're always on top of embracing new technology (look at glenn's new mac today)... and btw, Changepoint has already been COMPLETELY rewritten into WPF/Silverlight from its ASP.NET despite it "working-as-is"...soooo from a "business prospective" change can and tends to be good when the right technology is chosen
