My experience with Registering

Post by Zerk »

Did this site really have a problem with spam bots at some point? I'm pretty sure the register page doesn't need to be so confusing lol.

well I apologize for the confusion but we have received 0 bots with my register procedures. There are very few forums that can say that :)

The spam bots used to be very disrupting. In the last year or so, the trend has been not to pop up and make your first post for Viagra, but to emulate legit users. They would make introduction posts, and some users would respond to them. Registration may be a bit of a pain, but the spam bots will make you want to pull your hair out.
