I tried it before. It is honestly pretty terrible. The games are excruciatingly slow and clunky feeling. I couldn't imagine anyone seriously playing a game made with it. And about 98% of the community just makes anime fan games (read: lots and lots of Naruto). I would avoid it and use Eclipse. Byond makes Eclipse games look like they were made with Hero Engine.
