This reminds me of when 200 people froze in place in Grand Central Station. It was organized by a group called "Improv Everywhere". However, their stuff seems to be a bit more subtle than a group running into a store for Hammer Time.

Did you see the guy thrusting his hips at that one employee of the store? It kind of seems like some of them could get in trouble for stuff like that. He was only a foot or so away from her, and kept moving in, cornering her lol.
