I found this tonight while looking at the PhysX license (hoping to use it in my engine ) and thought it was simply amazing. It was posted back in March '09, but is still really cool, so I thought I'd post it for you all to see.

Very very nice effects. The only problem I see is that was 500 000 particles used in that, and it wasn't giving that much of an effect. Couldn't imagine having to have a few effects on the screen at even 100 000..
