Finally done with the holidays

Post by D3luxe »

Minus New Years, of course.

I'm finally done with all of the family christmas parties, etc. Recently though, my internet at home has been acting up a lot, which has kept me from getting online much at all.

I ended up getting a mac. It's just a Macbook, a 13" and from the last generation, but I needed a little something for portability. It was my stepdads, but he doesn't use it anymore so I kinda took lead..I love macs. I still have my monster PC I'll be doing most of my work on, but not being tied to my desk at all hours of the day will be kinda nice.

I'm working on a 2010 Chevy Camaro model, that's coming out pretty well. I'll try to get some pics up relatively soon when I get a bit more done to it..Currently about 80% of the shell is done. Still needs rims/grill/lights/tires/windows/etc, but when I get the shell done I'll start posting some pics up.

I sold my Wacom Bamboo tablet today and ordered myself a new 6x11 Intuos 3 which should be here some time next week, hopefully. I got a widescreen 22" monitor for christmas, so I figured the new tablet would fit well with it.

Classes start back up for me on the 11th, so I'll have some projects to start posting up again. Plus, I'll be back at my apartment where I actually have stable internet so I can regularly post again.

Sorry for the recent disappearance! :)

That happens to be my 2nd favorite car ('69 camaro being first). Nice choice :)

Hah, sorry! I wasn't sure if I was selling it till after te holidays, because I wanted to see how much money I got and if I could afford a new one. Plus, I sold it via craigslist so it was local and I didn't have to deal with shipping.

And it's a macbook, which I'm used to using anyway cause my GF has one so whenever I'm at her apartment I use that. A 1 button mouse might be kinda odd, but the 1 button laptop is pretty nice actually.
