This is the first animation I've done, following a tutorial. I think it turned out pretty good. Took roughly 4 hours to render.

It's 27,000 polys with motion blur and 2 lights. It ran 12 passes for each frame, 600 frames in total. I could have possibly turned down the passes which would have probably sped it up quite a bit, but I let it run while I was sleeping anyway so 4 hours didn't bother me and it turned out better with more passes.

Re: Mechanical Room - First Animation
What types of passes are you running, and how do you go about doing them? I'm assuming by passes you mean like ambient/zdepth/blur passes? or just different passes for each lighting??

Re: Mechanical Room - First Animation
I ran passes for the exposure, as well as the lights, and 6 passes for the blur. It varied per frame, but it would generally run between 6 and 12 passes for each frame.Last Known Hero wrote:What types of passes are you running, and how do you go about doing them?
