That's pretty amazing! the only thing that's bothering me is the price. If it cost as much as TGE, i would already have it now!

same here. I dont like the price. BUT if its a good engine that is versatile then it might be worth it.

The thing is: I have yet to find someone who use it to maybe recommend it to me. And 10 days isn't a sufficient trial period to juge. It's near the end o the road that you encounter the problems that can ruin your project, after you have lost so much time...

Ok well here is my input on this engine. Ok basically I don't see this as a good engine to use for indies. Yes its $150 same price as TGE. However the biggest problem you will have with this engine is its art pipeline. Far as I am aware it ONLY supports 3ds max. So lets see $150 + $3,200 for 3ds max == what the hell for an indie :P. However I think if I had to choose TGE or Abyssal engine I would choose Abyssal its terrain system I must say I do enjoy. It doesn't use lightmaps uses real time lighting. You can change the time of day and your scene will change dynamically based on the suns position in the sky. Overall I would say it outdoes TGE and TGEA. However I would much rather just buy Torque3d over Abyssal. And that's my 2 bits :P.
